Planning Committee Meeting - 6/13/17
The Appleton Public Library Board Planning Committee met Tuesday, June 13 to discuss options for moving forward with the library building process.
The three options discussed included:
- A refresh of the existing site selection matrix used in the 2015 building process.
- A re-do of the site selection matrix used in the 2015 building process.
- Solicit proposals for a mixed-use library within a geographical range of the existing library site.
The planning committee moved to make a recommendation for staff to bring back a proposal for how to move forward with mixed-use RFPs (request for proposals) for the library. The committee's recommendation will now go to the full library board for a vote.
